<Rose> My brother and I were playing Tiger Woods 2004, just EA's golf franchise but 04 is the best one.

<Rose> We're playing four-player skins.
<Rose> Skins is where each hole is worth x amount of dollars, and if any two people get the same score, it carries over to the next hole and so on until one player wins the hole outright and takes all the skins that have accumulated.
<Rose> So we're playing with four people, two each.
<Rose> My two people (with stupid names) are Motherlod and Burgertim.
<Rose> His two are Brett and Tiger Woods on Drugs.
<Rose> Brett hits a shot from 100 yards out and holes it for eagle.
<Rose> Motherlod, who is just as ridiculously good, has to hole out as well or Brett wins all the skins. Bugertim and TWOD are already eliminated.
<Rose> I hit the shot, and it's not going anywhere close. I concede mid-ball-flight.
<Rose> The game thinks "Oh hey you also only took two shots! CARRY OVER, NEXT HOLE"
<Rose> Now, my brother is pissed.
<Rose> So I decide to compromise with him.
<Rose> I'll make Motherlod concede every hole right off the tee if TWOD does too.
<Rose> He agrees.
<Rose> So now it's Brett vs. Burgertim for all the skins. Burgertim is okay but nowhere near as good.
<Rose> The thought was that Brett will get all the skins anyway this way.
<Rose> Burgertim plays well and ties Brett for three straight holes.
<Rose> We get to a par 3.
<Rose> Motherlod's up first. Hit ball, immediately concede.
<Rose> Brett's up next.
<Rose> Hole in one.
<Rose> Now TWOD. Hit ball, immediately concede.
<Rose> The game decides this is the end and awards all the skins to... Burgertim.
<Rose> Because she never hit the ball and thus scored a 0 to Brett's 1.
<Rose> Therefore, he hit a hole in one and LOST THE HOLE.
<Rose> And Burgertim walks away with $40,000 without firing a single shot. |
