<phobos> well, part of my job is to salvage desktops, laptops, workstations, and servers from the scrap pile. From there, I am supposed to rebuild them into working and sell-able units again. I fell behind this week and the tables/show cases started looking pretty bare.
<phobos> Got asked what happened and I explained that I'm trying to end the vicious cycle of restocking
<phobos> that it's all a negative experience
<phobos> boy did I get my ass chewed for that point of view
<phobos> Then there is this 24 year old that I have to work with
<phobos> He's never had a date in his life that he admits to, let alone a serious girlfriend
<phobos> so every time I generated a spec sheet and price tag, I was adding stuff like *Buyer of this item must be willing to take $employee on one date
<phobos> bought myself another ass chewing for that |
